Actos Lawsuit

I think my diabetes medication might have caused my bladder cancer; who should I call?

We are the Spangenberg Law Firm, and have been representing individuals like you for over 65 years.  In dangerous drug pharmaceutical cases, we have a nationwide practice.  We have been involved in these types of cases since the 1960s, and have extensive experience with Multi-District Litigation (“MDL”) like the Actos cases. We are handling Actos and pioglitazone cases right now, and you can reach us by filling out the contact form to the right, or calling one of our Actos lawsuit attorneys at 1-877-696-3303.

Who are the Spangenberg Actos lawsuit attorneys working on the Actos injury lawsuits?

Spangenberg partners Peter J. Brodhead, William Hawal, and Peter H. Weinberger are spearheading the Actos lawsuit cases, along with associate attorney William B. Eadie.  You can learn more about their extensive experience under the “Actos Lawyers” tab in the menu above, and in the below content.

How long has the Spangenberg Law Firm been handling dangerous drug product liability cases?

For decades.  We have the resources and experience to help people with viable Actos injuries file lawsuits.  Fill out the contact form to the right, or call one of our Actos lawsuit attorneys at 1-877-696-3303 now.  There is no cost or obligation for contacting us and consulting with one of our Actos lawsuit attorneys.  Call now.

Why should I pursue legal action against Actos or other pioglitazone manufacturers?

People with legitimate claims get involved in lawsuits for lots of reasons.  For some people, it is the desire to make sure other people don’t go through what they’ve been through.  For others, it is to seek compensation for the bills they have had to pay for injuries they shouldn’t have had but for the dangerous drug.  Sometimes it is to make sure the defendant company takes notice and responsibility for what they’ve done.  Often, it is for all of the above. Why you should pursue a Actos lawsuit claim—and even if you have a claim—depends on the specific facts of your case.  Fill out the contact form to the right, or call one of our Actos lawsuit attorneys at 1-877-696-3303 now, to discuss these issues without cost or obligation.  Part of our job is to help you sort out what is best for you given the facts of your story.  Put us to work for you today.

How will you be able to determine if I have a Actos lawsuit claim?

We will review the basic facts of your (or your loved one’s) story: how long on the drug, the injuries sustained, etc.  If the facts indicate you may have a claim, our Actos injury attorneys obtain the medical records necessary to build a case.  We can walk you through this process if you fill out the contact form to the right, or call us at 1-877-696-3303. For example, when the injury occurred, and when you learned that Actos or another bisphosphonate was possible responsible for the injury may affect whether your claim is "timely"--that is, whether you are still able to bring the claim at all.  These are state-specific laws that are often affected by other laws or judicial opinions, such as whether there is a discovery rule or statute of repose.  You should always contact an attorney about determining whether you have a claim, which they ought to provide for free.

How long will a lawsuit regarding Actos take?

That’s impossible to say.  We’ve had cases that settle quickly, and cases that take years.  If you have a viable case and we file on your behalf, you will have no day-to-day time commitment.  Rather, there will be specific points where you will need to be involved if the case progresses to that point, such as a deposition, or even a trial.  We will prepare you for each step of the way. Our Actos bladder cancer lawyers will be happy to discuss the process with you, without obligation or cost, if you fill out the contact form to the right, or call us at 1-877-696-3303.

Do I ever owe you for a fee for Actos litigation?

No.  Our Actos attorneys work on a contingency fee basis—so we are compensated out of the eventual recovery, not your pocket.  If there is no recovery or it is insufficient, we take on those losses.  That’s part of how we help people who can’t afford to fund expensive litigation seek justice.

How do I contact your Actos bladder cancer lawyers?

Simply fill out the form to the right or call 1-877-696-3303.  You will likely be able to speak with an attorney on your first call—not just a staff member.

How much does a pioglitazone lawsuit cost me?

Because we handle our cases on a contingency-fee basis, there is no out-of-pocket expense to you.  That means we don’t send you a bill.  Instead, we are paid for our work on your case out of the case proceeds.  If there aren’t enough proceeds to cover the case expenses, you don’t get a bill—we take on those losses. When you complete the contact form to the right, an attorney will contact you and help evaluate your potential Actos or pioglitazone-related claim.  We will also provide you with a retainer agreement and medical authorizations that allow us to start working on your behalf in Actos litigation.  It’s that simple!  And unlike some “high-volume” law firms, you’ll be able to speak with an attorney, not a lower-level staff member.  Because we are selective in deciding in which drug cases to become involved, and because we are selective about the particular client cases we take on, we never have to “turn” good cases for low settlements—we can focus on your Actos litigation case and have the maximum impact.
